New Children’s Hospital 2019! Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence

Pediatrix is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team of Neonatologists and NNPs serving newborns and families in Macon, GA. Our practice provides neonatology services at Navicent Hospital in Macon, GA. The role supports Level II infants in the Level III NICU.

• Assisting the Level III NICU team with stable babies progressing toward discharge (feeders and growers).
• Communicating with general pediatricians and/or subspecialists as needed.
• Daily rounds from 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; no call required.
• Performing circumcisions.
• Babies requiring a higher level of care are managed by the NICU team.
• Atrium Health Navicent is a designated Level‑I trauma center and one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia.
• Opened a 50,000‑square‑foot neonatal intensive care unit:
  Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in the first quarter of 2019 (childrenhospitalnh.org).
