About the Role

Join The Goddard School of Cumming (North), GA as a GA Pre-K Lead Teacher, where you will inspire young minds and create a nurturing learning environment. Our dedicated team is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education that fosters creativity and a love for learning. We are only looking for certified lead teachers to fill the gap in one of our classrooms and then continue to be the lead teacher for the upcoming school year.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards.

Create a safe and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.

Assess and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.

Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Facilitate daily activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Valid Georgia teaching certification for Pre‑K or equivalent.

Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching.

Ability to create and maintain a positive learning environment.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom.
