Description:
We are seeking a passionate, organized, and forward-thinking Math & Science Teacher (Grades 4–8) who is ready to be a change maker in education. This role is ideal for an educator who values student agency, embraces creativity, and is excited to design meaningful, interdisciplinary learning experiences in small classes of 6–10 students.
At our school, we foster a culture that prioritizes community, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning.
Work Schedule:Our school operates on a four-day week, Monday through Thursday. Teachers are on-site from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM each school day. This schedule totals approximately 32 hours per week and is considered a part-time position.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree required (Education, Math, Science, or related field)
- Teaching certification or eligibility to receive one
- Experience teaching math and/or science at the upper elementary or middle school level (Grades 4–8)
- Demonstrated experience with project-based and/or inquiry-based learning
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, including working with gifted and diverse learners
