Construction Resources is seeking a full‑time, on‑site CAD Engineer for its location in Cumming, GA. The CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate CAD designs for various construction projects, including residential and commercial sectors.
Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, collaborating with architects, designers, and project managers, ensuring design specifications are met, conducting quality checks, updating designs as needed, and maintaining accurate records of all plans and revisions.
Qualifications- Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling, and drafting techniques
- Strong technical skills in reading and creating blueprints, schematics, and architectural drawings
- Problem‑solving skills with the ability to provide innovative design solutions
- Experience coordinating with architects, designers, and construction teams
- Time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team‑based project work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in construction or design industries is a plus
