3D Scanning Engineer
Location:
Cumming, Georgia (Onsite)
Fulltime
Perform 3D scanning of physical objects and environments using state-of-the-art 3D scanning equipment.
Process and optimize scanned data to create accurate, high-resolution 3D models.
Convert scanned data into usable formats for design, manufacturing, or analysis purposes.
Perform quality control checks on 3D models to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to 3D scanning equipment and design files.
Provide technical expertise on the integration of 3D scanning data into design workflows.
Stay up to date with advancements in 3D scanning technology and CAD software to continuously improve processes.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Knowledge with 3D scanning technologies (e.g., laser scanning, structured light scanning, photogrammetry).
Proficiency in 3D CAD design software Solid Works.
Knowledge of reverse engineering and data processing methods for 3D scanning.
Familiarity with file formats for 3D printing, CNC machining, and other manufacturing processes.
