As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high-performance, high-quality, low-power products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the optimal product execution path.

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering or related field
• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 2+ years of experience with architecture and design tools is a plus

• Define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development
• Develop advanced architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations
• Collaborate with software, hardware, product management, and program management teams to drive execution
• Analyze and optimize full design flows (RTL-to-GDS or custom circuit flow), including timing, power, and verification
• Utilize EDA tools (e.g., Virtuoso, RTL-to-GDS flow) for complex block/SoC design
• Write and review detailed technical documentation for ASIC/IP projects

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
• Make decisions that impact work beyond the immediate team
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively (written and verbal)
• Influence organizational decisions and collaborate with senior leadership
• Handle ambiguous tasks requiring planning, prioritization, and problem-solving
