Senior Accountant Who:

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support financial operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

This role will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, month-end close, payroll support, and process improvement efforts while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Salary:

$85,000 - $90,000 plus benefits

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and vendor records
  • Partner with HR to support payroll processing and related reporting
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership and external stakeholders
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and support the development of strong internal controls
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Collaborate with accounting teams across multiple locations to ensure consistent financial reporting
  • Support the integration of newly acquired entities and help standardize accounting processes
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insights to support business decisions
  • Contribute to recurring financial reporting packages and analysis for stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA (active or inactive) is a plus
  • Public accounting experience preferred, along with exposure to fast-paced or multi-entity environments
  • Experience in private equity-backed or acquisition-driven organizations is highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Sage Intacct or Stampli is a plus)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
