OR Departments:Responsible for supervising designated surgery support staff to departmental flow through effective and proper storage, retrieval, setup and maintenance of surgical equipment used across multiple services; timely fulfillment and delivery of surgical supplies and instrumentation to operating rooms; efficient and consistent response to operating room needs including, but not limited to, equipment, supplies, instrumentation, transporting blood/tissue/specimens, cleaning and patient moving/positioning.
Pre-op Departments:Responsible for the day-to-day ancillary operations of the pre-op departments including supervision of processes and support personnel to ensure effective and efficient flow of patients, supplies and equipment.
Previous success leading teams in a fast paced environment.
Familiarity with administrative functions including scheduling and payroll.
Three (3) years of experience in surgical services.
Established understanding of surgery operations including, but not limited to, instrumentation, supplies and cleaning.
Experience and/or certification as a surgical technologist.
Two (2) years of experience within perioperative services.
Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role within a hospital setting.
