Data Analyst
Involves analyzing project requirements and gathering necessary information to build comprehensive solutions. This includes determining data storage needs, data outputs, the appropriate platform for development, deployment strategies, visualization of model outputs, and creating SOP documentation for clients. Key responsibilities encompass ETL processes, data cleansing, feature analysis, and selection, handling missing data, anomaly detection, and performing statistical checks. Model development is carried out on platforms like Databricks, Vertex AI, or on-prem systems, ensuring compliance with BSD, MIT, or Apache standards for external libraries.
The job requires proficiency in using various ML models, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression techniques, SVM, KMeans, LOF, Prophet, ANOVA, PCA, and neural networks, among others. Statistical methods such as linear regression, classification, model selection, decision trees, random forests, SVM, KNN, and hyperparameter tuning are also applied. Managing Databricks for advanced data processing and analytics is a key part of the role, along with developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures for ETL tasks.
Ensuring data quality and integrity across various sources and systems is essential. The role also involves making decisions and managing both on-prem and cloud resources, utilizing Azure and GCP, and external tools like Bitbucket, Git Hub, Confluence, and Jira efficiently.
Requirements: Master or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, CS, CA, IT & Business Administration or related field with 6 months of experience. Must be able to travel temporarily to client sites throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
