PC Technician

Sawnee EMC is seeking a PC Technician to review PC and network system capabilities; inspect personal computer equipment; prioritize and schedule repairs; and coordinate help desk activities. Requires an associate degree with a minimum of three years of experience in LAN/Network design, configuration, installation, and PC troubleshooting. Position is full-time; must be flexible to work irregular hours as necessary, to include evenings and weekends.

Must have a thorough working knowledge of administering and maintaining the latest version of Windows Operating Systems; MS Office products;
Office 365; internet configuration and technologies. Must have strong verbal documentation and customer service skills. Strong abilities performing monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of WAN/LAN infrastructure, SCCM, Power Shell, iPhone, iPad, Airwatch, MDT, Intune and KMS. • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems, modifying and improving personal computer and networking systems and provides technical assistance and training to system end-users.
• Demonstrates an awareness that the job exists to effectively serve each SEMC member, and at every opportunity to achieve increased member and public understanding for support SEMC.

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a minimum of three years’ experience in PC, iPhone, iPad, troubleshooting, or equivalent experience as solely determined by the Corporation.

• High level of competency working within a Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, MS Office Products, iPhones, iPads, A+ certification preferred.
• The employee processes and maintains confidential material in circumspect manner.
• Must have thorough working knowledge of administering and maintaining the latest version of Windows Operating Systems, and iOS. Must have thorough working knowledge of MS Office products;
  Internet configuration and technologies;
  Internet based email systems.
• Must have strong verbal, documentation, and customer service skills. Must have excellent remote troubleshooting and configuration skills.
• Must have strong working knowledge of the latest version of Microsoft Windows, Firewalls.
• Strong working abilities performing monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of, SCCM, Power Shell, iPhone, iPad, , Microsoft Defender, Sentinel One, Rapid7, Apple Business Manger, , Intune and KMS.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, vendors, or members of the business community.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
