Associate Attorney

We are a growing law firm seeking a highly motivated Associate with excellent skills to join our expanding team. The position is available for full-time work, with part-time arrangements considered, in multiple locations:

  • Canton
  • Sandy Springs
  • Roswell

Responsibilities

The associate will handle all aspects of client matters, including:

  • Meeting with prospective clients
  • Devising strategies
  • Finalizing estate plan documents
  • Drafting probate pleadings
  • Supervising paralegals and assistants
  • Preparing for and attending probate court hearings
  • Preparing Medical Assistance planning letters and supervising related applications
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an active member of the Georgia Bar
  • Have 5+ years of experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration
  • Experience with Medicaid or VA Improved Pension Benefit is a plus
  • Possess skills and experience, along with a positive attitude, character, and integrity. High-maintenance or humorless individuals are not suitable
  • Be a self-starter, quick learner, and capable of working independently and in a team
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving, flexibility, and prioritization skills
  • Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Possess solid computer and time management skills
  • Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and integrity, following professional conduct rules
  • Interact compassionately and professionally with clients and colleagues

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
