SalaryUp to $120,000 base salary plus bonus.
Position OverviewThis Controller will lead the day‑to‑day accounting and financial management of a well‑established organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting leadership with financial insights during an important succession planning phase.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee full‑cycle accounting including financial reporting, budgeting, and month‑end close
- Supervise and mentor a small team of administrative and accounting professionals
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Support leadership with financial analysis and operational insights
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Work within Quick Books or a comparable ERP system to manage financial data
- Previous Controller or senior accounting leadership experience within a small to mid‑size business
- Strong understanding of full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting
- Experience supervising administrative or accounting staff
- Experience with Quick Books or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred
- Ability to operate in a hands‑on, small business environment
