Job Details

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Duties could include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching, climbing up and down stairs and ladders.
• Lifting is required in many areas (up to 70 pounds).
• Successful completion of a respiratory physical will be necessary.
• These positions work in a cold, damp, or hot and humid environment.
• Proficiency in reading and writing, ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

• 6 months experience in Maintenance
• A maintenance apprenticeship or degree from a technical school will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Industrial maintenance or mechanical certification preferred.
