Partners Personnel is now hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Print Operator! We are seeking a skilled Print Operator who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys solving mechanical challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing large-format printing equipment while ensuring consistent print quality and maximizing equipment uptime.

Position Summary

The Print Operator / Print Technician will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of EFI large-format printers, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate EFI large-format printers safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and print-quality issues.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Monitor color accuracy, print quality, and production consistency.
• Load, unload, and safely handle large media rolls and printing materials.
• Review work orders and prioritize production tasks to meet customer deadlines.
• Collaborate with Graphics, Production, and Shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report equipment concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and print quality.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating large-format digital printing equipment.
• Experience operating EFI VUTEk printers strongly preferred.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing large-format printing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of color management, media handling, and print production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Safely handle large media rolls and finished products.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery and equipment.
