Paint Technician

Bell Cabinetry & Design is seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our custom cabinetry team. In this role, you'll prepare, finish, and detail high-end kitchen, bath, and whole-home cabinetry using stains, paints, and clear coats. Responsibilities include surface prep, color matching, spraying and hand-finishing, and quality checks to ensure flawless results. You'll work closely with designers, craftsmen, and installers in a collaborative, design-focused shop that values craftsmanship, precision, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabinet surfaces through sanding, filling, and priming for finishing.
• Mix, match, and apply stains, paints, and clear coats to custom cabinetry.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment, booths, and finishing tools.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality, color accuracy, and finish consistency.
• Follow work orders, drawings, and finish schedules to meet design specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe finishing area in the shop.
• Collaborate with designers, installers, and shop staff to meet project timelines.
• Perform touch-ups and repairs on finished cabinetry as needed on site or in shop.
