Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Oncology Acute Care
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule12-hour Day shifts from 7am to 7pm, with varying schedules.
Job DescriptionThe Acute Care Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting, focusing on the management of symptoms and treatment side effects related to cancer care.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform treatment procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an acute care Med Surg Oncology setting.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
