We desire a Registered Nurse who has IR skills and will take a job in Cumming, GA. This assignment requires the applicant travel as the position is not local – compensation for this assignment will account for travel expenses and be much higher than a local Nursing assignment. Our client is trying to find an applicant with experience who is able to start as soon as possible, which means that we have a need for qualified nurses to quickly begin our electronic on-boarding process.

Before commencing with your first travel assignment some preparation is needed. Be certain to update your RN license, if needed, and make sure you have a complete immunization and physical examination records. Your CV should display your nursing skills and experience and you should have several references who can be easily contacted to vouch for you.

Getting an RN license in a particular state can commence before having an assignment lined up. If you have some states where you are considering working you can begin the licensure process beforehand. There are a few states that take over a month to process, like, California, New Jersey, and New York. Many other states will quickly process RN license applications, often in a few days.

There are a number of states where you can obtain your RN license in one day, simply by going to the state nursing board directly.

The process of getting an RN license will be much easier if you have a license in a state that is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact, that has 25 states as members.
