Overview

Full‑time position for an Amedisys licensed practical nurse. Pay range: $28-$31 per hour. $10,000 sign‑on bonus and mileage reimbursement available.

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physicians and RNs frequently to ensure patient needs are met; notify them as soon as possible when patient condition changes.
• Teach patients and caregivers self‑care techniques.
• Check vital signs.
• Review all medications and perform medication reconciliation at each visit.
• Perform specialized procedures ordered by physicians (e.g., Foley catheter change).
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments using aseptic technique.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license specific to the state(s) assigned.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
