Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Acute Care Oncology
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 12-hour days, 7AM - 7PM, with a requirement of working 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday during the contract period.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Acute Care Medical-Surgical Oncology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty and must hold the required certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care Inpatient Oncology unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Acute Care Med-Surg Oncology.
- Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification required.
