Overview
Registered Nurse - GI Lab; GI Lab specialty;

08/31/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,843 to $1,951 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40. Shift: 4x10-hour days with on‑call during the week and weekend; schedule typically Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work setting: hospital‑based GI interventional lab.

08/31/2026 - Work setting: hospital GI Lab; interventional procedures
- Provide RN care in the GI Lab during a range of interventional procedures, including colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopy, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flexible sigmoidoscopy, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronchoscopy, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assess vitals, manage sedation per protocol, and respond to any adverse events; ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist physicians and the interventional team; prepare and maintain procedural rooms and equipment; uphold sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Administer medications and provide continuous monitoring as directed; document procedural data, post‑procedure orders, and discharge instructions in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, nurses, and support staff; coordinate patient flow, on‑call duties, and post‑procedure transport and education.
- Active registered nurse license to practice in Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in GI Lab or related interventional procedures.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
- Ability to work in a hospital GI Lab environment; willingness to participate in on‑call coverage and a 4x10‑hour shift schedule (Mon–Fri, ~6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
- Travel nursing assignment with structured 13‑week term
