Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience and necessary certifications to ensure quality healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess clinical conditions regularly.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and uphold infection control practices.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Hold active AHA BLS and NIH certification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be able to work flexible hours including shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be willing to commit to a 13-week assignment with variable schedule shifts within the specialty.
