Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Mother Baby / Postpartum unit to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume facility. The nurse will provide compassionate support to new mothers and their infants, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns, including assessments and monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate new mothers on postpartum recovery, infant care, and breastfeeding practices.
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures following protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Mother Baby or Postpartum unit.
- Active AHA BLS and NRP certifications.
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a high-volume labor and delivery setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in postpartum and neonatal care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including major and minor holidays.
