• Assignment specifics:
  Mother Baby unit with high-volume care; holiday coverage required (two major holidays and one minor holiday)

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care for mothers and newborns on a Mother Baby unit
• Monitor maternal and neonatal conditions, administer medications as ordered, and perform routine assessments
• Support breastfeeding and lactation education; assist with newborn care, feeding, and routine newborn screenings
• Collaborate with obstetric, pediatrics, and ancillary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Respond to clinical changes, participate in rounds, and promote family-centered care during postpartum and newborn stays

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Mother Baby specialty or a closely related unit
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• Experience on a 40-bed mother-baby unit with a high delivery volume (approximately 4,000 deliveries per year) preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; schedule may vary between 7a and 7p
• Willingness to meet holiday coverage expectations: must work two major holidays and one minor holiday per rotation
