Overview

Registered Nurse – Operating Room, travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,753 to $1,864 per week with guaranteed 32 hours per week. Shift: 8x4 days; typical hours 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in an operating room/outpatient surgery setting within a hospital environment. The role includes floating to additional OR areas to maintain coverage and late coverage as needed.

• Circulate in the operating room, preparing the room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team with draping and instrument handling
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively, count sponges and instruments, and support anesthesia to ensure patient safety
• Manage equipment, supplies, and documentation for perioperative processes; communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and support staff
• Float to other OR areas as assigned to cover volume and ensure appropriate staffing; participate in rotating late coverage as needed
• Assist with turnover between cases, maintain situational awareness for patient positioning, IV access, and patient comfort
• Adhere to hospital perioperative policies, safety standards, and accurate record-keeping

• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative environment and float to additional OR areas as needed
• Flexible schedule to meet holiday coverage requirements and on-call expectations
• Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
• Comfort working in an operating room/outpatient surgical setting and following strict sterile protocols
