American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring step-down/intermediate care experience and night shifts.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting providing step-down or intermediate care
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, generally 7pm-7am with some variation
• No on-call responsibilities

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in step-down or intermediate/progressive care required

• Must be comfortable caring for patients requiring step-down or intermediate level care
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• Returning staff who previously worked as permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
• RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested afterward
