American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience for a GI Lab position requiring holiday coverage.
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy specialty required
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital GI Lab performing a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
- Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
- Schedule is 4x10hr day shifts, Monday-Friday
- Call required during the week and on weekends
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
