About the Role:
The Cashier plays a crucial role in the retail environment by ensuring a seamless and efficient checkout experience for customers. This position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and maintaining the integrity of the cash register. Additionally, the Cashier will provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall store environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems and cash handling procedures.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register and point of sale systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and surrounding workspace.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently.
- Assist with stocking shelves and performing janitorial duties as needed.
