Job Description Locations: Cumming, GA Gainesville, GA Monroe, GA
Compensation: Starting at $13.61/hour Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Cashier to support retail operations in Cumming, Gainesville. In this role, you will provide friendly customer service, operate a cash register, handle cash deposits, stock products, monitor inventory, and help keep retail locations clean and organized. Daily responsibilities include opening and closing the store, checking product freshness, restocking shelves, and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.

This position is ideal for individuals with retail or cashier experience who enjoy working independently and interacting with customers. The schedule is approximately 25-30 hours per week, with Sunday off, weekday hours generally from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Candidates must have reliable transportation with mileage reimbursed weekly for bank deposits.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Operate cash registers and accurately process cash and credit card transactions
• Perform cash handling duties, including balancing drawers, preparing deposits, and following company procedures
• Open and close retail location according to established guidelines
• Stock shelves with bread, snacks, beverages, and other merchandise
• Check product freshness and remove outdated or stale items as needed
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready retail environment
• Follow company safety, cash control, and asset protection procedures
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and service standards
• Assist with other retail operations duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• At least 1 year of cashier, retail, convenience store, or customer service experience
• Experience handling cash and processing customer transactions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull merchandise and supplies as needed
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday, including Saturday shifts
• Strong customer service, communication, and basic math skills

Preferred

• Experience opening and closing a retail store
• Experience performing inventory counts and stocking merchandise
• Experience preparing bank deposits or balancing cash drawers
• Multi-site retail or route-based retail experience
