Our client is adding a Commercial Furniture Installer and Driver for their growing company. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for the right candidate.
You will commute to the Alpharetta Cumming area office to pick up a commercial box truck daily and proceed to the installation site. This position guarantees a 40 hour week and can offer 10-30 hours of OT during peak seasons.
As a Commercial Furniture Installer and Driver you will have your Valid Drivers license with no traffic or other offenses within the last 3 years. You will load, drive, and unload trucks with furniture, walls, carpets, and fixtures for office, school, hotel, and other project sites as scheduled each day. You will assist the Lead Installer and crew with carrying, setting up, configuring and checking install instructions and blue prints for accurate and safe installations.
Requirements- 1+ years of furniture installation experience and able to read Blueprints, Drawings for set up
- Valid drivers license with no infractions in the last 3 years
- Must be 25+ years of age due to insurance regulations
- Ability to commute to Cumming office to pick up a company vehicle for the day's installs
- Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs unassisted
- Experience with reading and interpreting blue prints and other drawings
- Experience with safe loading, unloading, and driving of commercial trucks
- Positive attitude and interaction with team members, office staff, customers and vendors
- Overtime pay up to 30 hours each week during peak times
- Paid Time Offof one week per service year up to 4 weeks
- Eligibility for Health Insurance after 90 calendar days
