• Design, architect, and productize proof-of-concepts for the data management platform
• Lead component and product roadmap discussions with product management
• Mentor and guide junior and experienced team members on software development practices
• Collaborate with the Cloudera Enterprise Cloud platform to roll out features in AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery, including design, implementation, and documentation

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering
• Strong understanding of systems, multi-threading, databases, and distributed computing
• Proven experience in driving initiatives from inception to production
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go

• Experience with data-center scale computing and microservices
• Expert-level knowledge of JVM, multi-threading, and garbage collection internals
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, CXF, and Swagger
