Paine College seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as Assistant Coach for Men's and Women's Golf. This full-time position works closely with the Head Coach to support all aspects of the golf program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, energy, and a strong commitment to advancing the success of student-athletes and the mission of Paine College.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with all facets of the golf program, including:
- Training and skill development
- Recruiting prospective student-athletes
- Organizing team travel and logistics
- Strength and conditioning programs
- Practice planning and execution
- Fundraising and alumni engagement
- Community involvement and First Tee of Augusta initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Paine College, NCCAA Division I rules, and institutional policies.
- Represent Paine College with professionalism and integrity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Successful coaching, recruiting, and/or playing experience at the collegiate level required.
- Working knowledge of NCCAA Division I rules and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to academic success and the educational mission of Paine College.
- High moral character and adherence to university and state codes of conduct.
Performance will be assessed in accordance with Paine College's faculty/staff evaluation process.
