Accounts Payable Receivable Staff Accountant
Global institutional asset management firm and multi-strategy hedge fund headquartered in San Francisco is seeking an Accounts Payable Receivable Staff Accountant to join their accounting team on a temporary basis! In this role, you will enter and process high volume accounts payable and receivable transactions under the direction of the Accounting Manager. This role is perfect for a problem solver who has top organization skills and previous accounting experience.
Please note, this is a hybrid (Fri. WFH), temporary role in downtown San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $65/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and receipts
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries
- Set up new vendors ensuring they are compliant with organizational policies and procedures
- Assist the Accounting Manager in process and procedures improvements
- Respond to staff and vendor requests/inquiries
- Assist management in other accounting related projects or needs
- Complete accounting administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience with complex accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, Netsuite preferred) in payables and receivables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Great time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Proficient working with spreadsheets and word processing software
- Driven and diligent work ethic
- Experience using Concur is a nice to have!
