Apple's Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) Admin Team is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our leaders and teams. You will be part of a centralized administrative environment working to meet the growing demands of the business. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to administrative duties with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on a wide range of confidential and time-sensitive assignments.
We seek a passionate and ambitious teammate who's well-organized, able to effectively multi-task and prioritize in an ever-changing environment, and take initiative. In this position you'll provide administrative support to leaders in engineering, as well as contributing support to the team's hardware procurement operations and other key areas of the business. Most importantly, you will be an integral part of the continued success and growth of the organization.
Activities
Daily activities will include calendar management (utilizing your keen problem-solving abilities as challenges arise), hardware procurement (ensuring our local teams have the devices they need to perform their job functions), facilities management (assisting with keeping our spaces functioning like a well oiled machine), booking domestic & international travel, arranging for team off-sites and events, and working closely with other admins and teams to coordinate meetings or collaborate on fun team events or initiatives.
Working with the broader team, you will ideally bring a fun and creative approach to team support, and be a champion for team morale. The candidate who will thrive in this role is an ambitious and highly organized individual who enjoys solving problems in creative ways and shines in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Complex calendar management for multiple executives
- Assisting with the full life-cycle of internal hardware procurement (ordering/shipping/receiving/tracking)
- Facilities coordination/management
- Booking domestic and international travel
- Planning, managing, and executing both small and large-scale events
- Onsite office support such as stocking supplies/snacks & escorting vendors or guests in lockdown areas as needed
- Working autonomously on assignments and handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Minimum of 3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience supporting a Director (high tech industry a plus)
- Complex calendar management experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships cross-functionally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong sense of professionalism
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $37.42 and $65.24/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
