Apple Pay Strategy And Planning Lead
Help Apple Pay & Wallet deliver amazing new commerce experiences for Apple customers around the world. Apple Pay is a leading digital wallet for iOS customers in over 80 markets and growing rapidly, including e-commerce, transit, loyalty, and other product areas.
Responsibilities- Synthesize competitive intelligence, market research, and data analysis into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Own complex financial modeling and analysis to support and guide leadership on critical investment and product decisions.
- Coordinate strategic projects and initiatives, from initial opportunity sizing and business case development to defining go-to-market strategy and measuring performance.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams, providing thought leadership and analytical support to drive alignment and successful execution of priorities.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization to influence the product and business roadmap.
- Partner with Product, Business Development, and Data Science teams to assess the strategic value of new product constructs, commercial models, and potential partnerships.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy, Strategic Finance, or a similar strategy and planning function in a global, fast-paced organization.
- Experience in financial and business case modeling, particularly in the payments industry, with the ability to build and defend sophisticated models that support strategic planning and investment.
- Adept at navigating ambiguity and structuring open-ended questions into clear, actionable frameworks for analysis and decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate complex strategic concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- A proactive mindset, with a high degree of ownership and the ability to drive projects independently.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field from a top-tier institution or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the payments ecosystem and fintech landscape is strongly preferred.
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,400 and $221,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
