OverviewAs part of our Worldwide Sales Business Transformation group, the Business Process Analyst will lead strategic projects that enhance content technology capabilities and streamline sales processes. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and ensuring successful delivery from conception to launch.
DescriptionIn this role, you will:
- Lead and manage strategic projects within the Sales Transformation portfolio, focusing on enhancing the content tech ecosystem and related sales processes.
- Partner closely with sales leaders and key stakeholders to understand business challenges, elicit detailed requirements, and define optimal future‑state processes and solutions.
- Translate high‑level business objectives and detailed requirements into comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process diagrams that engineering teams can implement.
- Facilitate workshops, conduct interviews, and present findings and recommendations to ensure alignment and buy‑in across all organization levels.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets; monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, UX/UI design, and other cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within sales operations, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support change‑management activities, including developing communication plans, training materials, and user adoption strategies for new processes and systems.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics, and track post‑implementation performance to ensure solutions deliver intended business value.
- Ensure all projects and solutions align with the broader Sales strategy and Apple’s overall business objectives.
- 8+ years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, or program manager leading complex, cross‑functional business transformation projects.
- Ability to understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools, focusing on upstream/downstream impact and inter‑functional relationships.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to collaborate with AI/ML, product, UX, engineering, and analytics teams to guide the development of technology‑driven solutions.
- Deep expertise in SDLC project management and business analysis, including current‑state assessment, future‑state definition, gap analysis, requirements gathering, specifications, user stories, process flows, timelines, UAT, and change management.
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to investigate data, business, or systems problems to expose root causes and identify solution options.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead simultaneous projects with competing priorities and timelines.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, simplifying complex ideas for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience creating polished executive presentations and “storytelling through data” to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills, establishing trust, credibility, and influence across diverse cross‑functional partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in a sales, marketing, or enterprise technology environment.
- Expertise in enterprise content platforms such as CMS, DAM, PIM, and content syndication platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce Experience Cloud, Stibo STEP, Salsify).
- Passion for continuous improvement, curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes.
- Forward‑thinking approach and tenacity to anticipate risks and opportunities and proactively drive outcomes.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Master’s Degree.
