Our vision is to super-charge our platform with in-house software that is easy and delightful to use for both the construction companies and the remote professionals.

We reduce the customer's overhead burden and risk in this (very) uncertain market.

The Linked Field founding team comes from top tech and ENR companies, where they designed, managed, and built over 1.5 billion square feet of projects—including hospitals, campuses, and facilities for Kaiser, Stanford, Apple, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Solar City, Microsoft, Yahoo, Baidu and Tesla.

Kevin and Manish first met as classmates at UC Berkeley, where they both studied Civil and Environmental Engineering and bonded over their shared interest in construction and innovation. Years later, Kevin met Kyle while working as a project manager, overseeing the construction of a corporate office where Kyle was a senior engineer

.Despite coming from different sides of the industry—construction management, design, and backend engineering—they shared the same frustration: construction teams lacked the tools and resources they needed to work efficiently. That common ground led to the creation of Linked Field—a platform built by construction veterans and technologists to bring modern tools, flexible talent, and smarter workflows to the jobsite and the industry.

CEO & Founder

Kevin Cheng has a B.S. / M.S from UCBerkeley in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He started his career as a project engineer intern and spent 15 years in construction project management before transitioning to construction tech. As an early alpha user and partner of Plan Grid, he later joined the team as their first Product Strategist, helping shape the product prior to its acquisition by Auto Desk .

Kyle Tsai

CTO & Founder

Kyle Tsai is a seasoned software engineer with a Masters degree from UCLA. He has deep experience building scalable platforms and leading technical teams. Before Linked Field, he held engineering roles at top tech companies including Microsoft, Yahoo, and Baidu, where he specialized in backend systems, data infrastructure, and distributed computing.

Manish Dalia

Customer Success

Manish Dalia is a licensed civil engineer turned construction tech leader with over 15 years of experience managing complex infrastructure and site development projects. Before joining Linked Field as its first full-time hire and Customer Success Manager, Manish held leadership roles at firms like Arup and Luk and Associates, where he oversaw high-profile projects including Apple Park and the Presidio Parkway.
