Job Duties

APEX Homes is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Associate with a strong residential construction background to guide homeowners through the planning, budgeting, and construction aspects of their ADU and residential development projects. As a specialized division under AlphaX, APEX Homes focuses on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), residential additions, remodels, and development projects throughout the Bay Area. This role combines consultative sales, construction expertise, and project planning.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, helping them understand construction processes, project costs, timelines, site constraints, and overall project feasibility before moving forward with design and construction. You will work closely with our sales, design, and project management teams to educate clients, build trust, and successfully close projects. The ideal candidate has extensive residential construction experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to develop relationships and convert opportunities into signed contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the entire sales process from lead qualification through contract execution.
  • Conduct sales consultations and convert prospective homeowners into active clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of ADU and residential construction opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
Client Consultation & Construction Planning
  • Meet with homeowners to discuss project goals, construction options, and development opportunities.
  • Educate clients on construction methodologies, project sequencing, permitting requirements, timelines, and realistic expectations.
  • Help clients understand project budgets, value engineering opportunities, and cost considerations.
  • Provide guidance on site-specific construction challenges and solutions.
Site Evaluations
  • Conduct property visits throughout Santa Clara County and the greater Bay Area.
  • Evaluate access, grading, utilities, existing structures, site conditions, and construction constraints.
  • Identify potential project risks and opportunities early in the sales process.
Pre-Construction Guidance
  • Collaborate with design and feasibility teams to ensure proposed projects are practical and buildable.
  • Assist clients in understanding the transition from planning and design into permitting and construction.
  • Support preliminary budgeting and scope development discussions.
Project Coordination
  • Work closely with architects, designers, engineers, estimators, and project managers.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales into design, permitting, and construction.
  • Maintain detailed project notes, CRM records, and client communications.
