This position is employed by AL Homes Inc., a subsidiary of AlphaX RE Capital. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Detailer & Prep Technician to support residential construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.

This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining job sites, assisting with construction and repair work, handling materials and tools, and supporting skilled trades throughout daily operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, dependable, and experienced in multiple areas of residential construction.

• Prepare construction sites before work begins, including clearing debris, leveling work areas, and setting up safety barriers.
• Load, unload, organize, and safely handle construction materials and equipment.
• Perform general construction and repair work, including framing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and home maintenance

• Assist with minor plumbing and basic electrical work as needed.
• Read and follow basic blueprints, drawings, and construction plans
  .
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Assist skilled tradespeople and subcontractors with daily job-site setup and construction activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas throughout the project.
• Inspect completed work and assist with quality-control and punch-list items.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA safety standards at all times.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, and customers.

• Hands-on experience in residential construction, remodeling, repair, or home maintenance

• Experience with framing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, and painting.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable operating power tools and handling construction materials safely.
• Strong understanding of job-site preparation, cleanup, and safety practices.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
  
  Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, standing, bending, and working on active construction sites.
