Pay Range: $22.56 - $25.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm)
OverviewReceives callers at the community office, determines the nature of business, and directs callers to their destination. Provides high-quality customer service to residents, families, co‑workers, and vendors.
Detailed Responsibilities- Receives callers and provides efficient customer service to residents, families, co‑workers, and vendors.
- Directs callers to the appropriate destination and records the caller’s name, time, nature of business, and the person requested.
- Takes messages accurately, spelling names and phone numbers correctly.
- Operates a multi‑line telephone console, headsets, calculator, fax machine, postal machine, and copier.
- Handles cash checks, sells stamps, bills residents for meal charges, and sells meal tickets to employees.
- Issues visitor passes and makes guest room reservations as needed.
- Monitors fire alarms, calls 911 when necessary, and directs emergency personnel.
- Keeps track of keys for residents, employees, and vendors.
- Performs varied clerical duties, including projects for the Executive Director, Marketing, Accounting, and Activity Departments.
- Maintains safety: reports hazards, attends mandatory in‑service meetings, and follows department and facility policies.
- Supports the community’s safety program by providing equipment with safeguards and personal safety equipment when required.
Education: High School diploma or GED
ExperienceCompensation will depend on a wide range of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, and certifications.
