SAT Instructor – English, Math

• Teach SAT Reading & Writing and SAT Math to small groups and one-on-one students in grades 9–12
• Diagnose student performance using practice-test data
• Build and refine lesson sequences, problem sets, and drills for both SAT sections
• Run timed practice tests and deliver score-report debriefs
• Own a caseload of students from enrollment through test day
• Write progress feedback for students and parents and address ineffective score plans
• Coordinate enrollment, scheduling, attendance, make-up sessions, and student records
• Support families with test-date concerns
• Shape class structure, student grouping, topic sequencing, and course pacing
• Observe other instructors' classes, share effective practices, and help set quality standards
• Grow into owning curriculum and mentoring other test-prep teachers

• Four or more years teaching high school level test prep
• Command of SAT content in at least one section and working capability in the other
• Willingness to own administrative work
• Available on-site in Cupertino for teaching blocks, including some afternoons, evenings, and weekends in peak test seasons

Demonstrates expertise in SAT Reading, Writing, and Math instruction for high school students, with a strong focus on curriculum development, student assessment, and administrative coordination. Capable of mentoring peers and enhancing instructional quality through effective practices.
