Amazon Web Services’ Network Products Development team is looking for experienced hardware engineering professionals to design and develop our next generation Ethernet switching platforms for world‑class data centers. The right candidate will play a key role in the design and development of modular chassis based enterprise and carrier products.
Responsibilities- Architect and specify next‑generation Ethernet switching platforms and modular chassis products.
- Lead high‑speed digital design activities, including component selection, detailed design, and simulation.
- Collaborate closely with PCB designers, perform testing, and transition designs to manufacturing.
- Conduct timing, thermal, and EMC analysis to validate product performance.
- Work with Asian ODM and JDM partners throughout development and manufacturing.
- Experience with analog, digital, and high‑speed circuit design.
- Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
- Experience working cross‑functionally across several technical and non‑technical teams.
- BSEE with 12+ years of hardware board and systems development, including taking products from concept to mass production, and recent 5+ years of experience with Ethernet switching fabrics, Ethernet PHY, Ser Des interfaces, embedded CPU subsystems, DDR2/DDR3/DDR4 memory design, network processors, I²C, and USB.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Experience in project management of technical programs.

The base salary range for this position is USD – annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
