Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in programming autonomous robots and systems.
- 2+ years of experience in areas like perception, SLAM, decision making, motion planning, and control systems.
- 2+ years of experience in applied machine learning and AI algorithms for embodied and autonomous systems.
- Experience in working with foundation models for robotics is a plus.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience in C++ and Python.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in R&D of pioneering AI and robotics algorithms, systems.
- Background in robotics algorithm integration, testing and experiments.
- Familiarity with real-time, multi-process, multi-threaded coding, and command line in Linux.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and follow through to task completion despite roadblocks or distractions
- Ability to prioritize with technical expertise and manage time wisely in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Creative, collaborative, and passionate about R&D on extraordinary products and experiences
- Excellent communication skills — you collaborate optimally with other teams and communicate clearly about your work
- Ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
