This role launches products on time, with high quality and maximum customer availability. Operations Program Managers are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apple’s products, leading and facilitating complex cross‑functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the OEM operations team in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
- Drive ramp readiness in collaboration with engineering, operations, and OEM teams.
- Plan capacity and lead factory equipment budgeting.
- Ensure component readiness to guarantee part availability, quality, and cost.
- Communicate requirements and schedules to maintain technical readiness with supply‑chain teams.
- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply‑chain responsiveness to achieve low cost, flexibility, and quality.
- Lead all communications within the organization, raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development.
- Ability to travel up to 20–25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- Results‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.
- Technical expertise and prior OEM management experience.
- Master’s degree or MBA considered a plus.
Base pay range: $128,400–$236,700, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees may become shareholders via Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs, receive restricted stock unit awards, and purchase stock at a discount through the Apple Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
