Hardware Validation Contractor

The Sensing HW team develops groundbreaking sensors that are central to a variety of platforms, including iPhones, iPads, Audio, Macs, the Home ecosystem, and accessories. You will play a key role in developing, characterizing, and validating sensor systems used in these platforms.

• Experience in characterization and validation of hardware platforms and devices.
• Background and experience with test fixtures and/or robots.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automating test procedures, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

• Familiarity with product integration and manufacturing technologies used in consumer electronics.
• Experience with hardware validation processes.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence.

• Develop test scripts for hardware validation and factory testing.
• Lead infrastructure and automation efforts for hardware testing.
• Design and develop hardware architectures for sensor test setups.
• Perform hands-on bench measurements of hardware for validation and troubleshooting.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies and methods to enhance sensor testing.
• Document specifications for design, testing, and failure analysis (FA) processes.
