The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) group is seeking a dynamic safety professional who can help drive change and develop and scale safer design solutions for emerging manufacturing technologies in our global supply chain.

As a Machine Safety Engineer, you will have a broad range of responsibilities aimed at advancing health and safety across our global supply chain. Applying data-driven insights and championing risk management programs, you will develop and implement initiatives that emphasize early assessment and mitigation of hazards associated with emerging technologies and new manufacturing processes.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the proven ability to influence engineering teams and external suppliers without direct authority. Experience directly working with cross-functional teams including and working on project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Strong working knowledge of international machine safety and risk assessment standards (e.g. ISO 12100, ISO 13849, ANSI B11, IEC 61508 etc).

Experience with supply chain automation, robotics, or design for safety. Certification in functional safety, industrial hygiene, and/or hazardous materials management. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10-20% of the time)

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, occupational safety, or a related field. 7+ years of engineering experience in advanced manufacturing technologies, customer equipment design, machine safety, supply chain automation or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data driven approach to technical, process of equipment engineering.
