Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Hardware Engineering looks for a customer‑obsessed, team‑driven technology leader to take engineering of server hardware to the next level. As a Senior Hardware Development Engineer on the AWS Board Core Design team, you will develop building blocks for next‑generation servers. You will be responsible for hardware component circuit board design, development, and maintenance. You will work on high‑speed interconnects, multi‑core processors, and high‑capacity memory, owning component boards from architecture, development, validation, and operations, thereby contributing to EC2 server success.
BasicQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years of new hardware product development experience
- 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems
- Experience developing high‑quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in server hardware design and validation
- Experience in managing ODM relationships and driving technical programs
- Experience in developing and implementing validation test plans
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with ODM partners
