You will oversee the qualification process for magnet blocks (including heavy rare earth–free designs), manage integration with downstream vendors, and partner closely with suppliers to secure reliable supply.
Responsibilities- You will develop and implement Apple’s global sourcing strategy for recycled rare earth materials, identifying and qualifying new sources worldwide. This includes negotiating strategic commercial agreements, mitigating geopolitical risk, and serving as Apple’s subject matter expert on the REE recycling market. You will own supplier relationships, manage performance against important metrics, and work cross‑functionally with Magnet GSMs, engineering, and environmental teams to ensure materials meet Apple’s technical and sustainability requirements.
