The Multitasking Experience team believes that software can be used to create beauty and, through it, echo the sense of purpose in our lives. We craft the most fluid, useful, and cared for user interfaces, collaborating with our hardware and software teams and designing software architectures necessary to ship them to billions of people worldwide. We push the App windowing experience through fluid interruptible App launch and transition animations, the App Switcher, external display support through Stage Manager, and more.

We build Dynamic Island with playful transitions, seamless hardware pointer support, lightweight multitasking via Picture in Picture, and further innovations. Our software architectures are proven to withstand the complexity of interactive embedded operating systems, enabling rapid prototyping and forming useful abstractions and separation of concerns in our designs.

Base pay range: $147,400 to $272,100, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees have the opportunity to become shareholders through discretionary stock programs and purchase stock at a discount under the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
