SoC Security Engineer - Platform Architecture

As part of the Platform Architecture organization, the Security Architecture team has a mission to provide rock-solid security foundation to Apple’s products. We evaluate security threats, define security features, architect security solutions, and collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless security systems across silicon design flow.

• Analyze hardware and software attack vectors.
• Define hardware and software security-related features.
• Architect security solutions in HW and SW.
• Develop evaluation plans for both HW and SW.
• Communicate with multi-functional teams.

• BS in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree.
• Experience in definition of secure systems.
• Experience in threat modeling and weaknesses analysis.
• Experience with SoC architecture.

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• MS or PhD in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree.
• Solid background of applied cryptography.
• Exposure to OS security.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently pursue new ideas and innovations.
• Good knowledge of Verilog/VHDL.
• Experience in C/C++ and interpretive language such as Perl/Python.

Base pay range: $181,100 - $272,100. Additional total compensation may include discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation support.
