Data Center Analog/Mixed-Signal IP Engineering Program Manager

Cupertino, California, United States Hardware

Description

Apple is seeking a seasoned, visionary engineering leader to join our Silicon Engineering team as an Engineering Program Manager. In this high‑impact role, you will be the driving force behind the development and delivery of world‑class Analog and Mixed‑Signal (AMS) IPs for Apple’s most advanced custom SoCs — setting technical and program direction from early architecture through mass production.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the strategy and development of state‑of‑the‑art Analog/Mixed‑Signal IPs across multiple product generations — from early architecture to mass production.
  • Partner closely with AMS IP design and SoC Integration teams to drive high‑impact development milestones — owning issue resolution, bug tracking, and IP consumer syncs to proactively address technical challenges across consumer silicon and data center platforms.
  • Lead resolution of complex technical dependencies across multidisciplinary teams — including Technology/Library, SoC Design, SoC Physical Design, Design Verification, and CAD — ensuring alignment across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Anticipate program risks, lead rapid root cause analysis and resolution of silicon issues at the IP level, and drive mitigation strategies — delivering authoritative, executive‑ready presentations in close collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to lead silicon validation of AMS IPs across consumer and data center environments, ensuring quality and reliability at scale.
  • Synthesize large volumes of technical data into compelling narratives and deliver clear, executive‑ready project status presentations tailored to audiences ranging from engineers to senior leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Computer Engineering and 10+ years relevant experience.
  • Experience includes a track record of experience in any one of the following:
Analog‑mixed‑signal (AMS) IP design OR Product development/program management/project management in AMS space OR Design engineering management in AMS space.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive hands‑on design expertise in AMS IPs for Ser Des, LPDDR, HBM, PLLs, and/or LDOs across multiple technology nodes.
  • Proven leadership in delivering high‑reliability AMS IPs for data center infrastructure at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and drive multi‑generational IP roadmaps in alignment with product strategy and business objectives.
  • Established track record of executive‑level influence and stakeholder management across large, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep expertise in advanced EDA tools, IP development methodologies, and SoC integration across cutting‑edge technology nodes for both consumer and data center platforms.
  • History of proactive risk management and real‑time crisis leadership in high‑complexity, high‑visibility programs with direct executive accountability.
